Terms of Use — Android apps

Last updated: 27 September 2026   Applies to: all Android apps published by Levi on HUAWEI AppGallery   Contact: [email protected]

Agreement

By installing or using one of these apps you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, uninstall the app. These terms are between you and the developer, Pham Nguyen Tan Phuc, trading as Levi.

Licence

You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you control, for as long as you comply with these terms. You may not resell it, rent it out, republish it, or present it as your own work. You may not decompile or modify the app except where that right cannot be removed by contract under the law that applies to you.

Your content is yours

Photos, recordings, documents, notes, ledgers and anything else you create or import stay yours. I claim no licence over them and I never receive them — see the privacy policy for why that is a technical fact rather than a promise.

Backups are your responsibility

These apps store data on your device and nowhere else. There is no cloud copy for me to restore from.

You will lose your data if you uninstall the app, wipe or lose the device, clear the app's storage, or forget a code that protects encrypted content. In the photo vault this is by design: the encryption key lives in the Android Keystore and is destroyed when the vault is erased or the app is uninstalled, which makes the encrypted files unreadable forever, including by me. There is no recovery, no master key and no back door.

Every app that holds data lets you export it as an ordinary file. Do that regularly and keep the export somewhere else.

Use the apps lawfully

What the apps do not promise

Warranty and liability

The apps are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for lost data, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the apps. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app, which for a free app is zero.

Some countries do not allow these exclusions. Nothing here removes a right you have under mandatory consumer law, and nothing here excludes liability for death, personal injury or fraud.

Purchases

Where an app offers a paid item, the sale is processed by HUAWEI AppGallery under Huawei's terms, and refunds follow Huawei's refund policy rather than mine. I do not handle your payment details and never see them.

Updates and availability

Apps may be updated, changed or withdrawn from the store. A version already installed keeps working on your device; I do not disable installed apps remotely and have no mechanism to do so.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use an app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
